Drone M3E
How to fix GPS issue
Requires stabilisation on the ground with a line of sight to the sky.
Power on BUT before flight on the takeoff spot and leave for 2 mins then takeoff
Verification of GPS stabilisation done properly
Check the Absolute vs Relative Altitude - Given that the M3E has a “lock” main check would be between the battery changes
Experiment
In open area / park turn on drone and let the GPS stabilise
Mark a mission and capture
Bring drone back down
Battery change
Do same stabilisation after battery change
Check the exif data. Then repeat experiment where the stabilisation is not done and compare results.
Drone M2P
How to fix GPS issue
Requires stabilisation for 2 minutes hovering once airborne
Verification of GPS stabilisation done properly
Check the Absolute vs Relative Altitude - Check all images across each component (pano, -65 orbit, -45 orbit) as GPS might change during capture
Experiment
In open area / park turn on drone fly up and let it hover for 2 mins
Mark a mission and capture
Bring drone back down
Battery change
Do same stabilisation after battery change
Check the exif data. Then repeat experiment where the stabilisation is not done and compare results

=> use online exif tool or nomacs image viewer to get the exif data
=> altitude different is same before a battery change but after value is different by 9m (271 - 262) because pilot did not manage battery change properly
=> Solution: Manage battery change better
=> Workaround: Use only one battery when possible to avoid issue occurring
