No, the exposure settings specified in our capture guides for Scanlink and Mission Planner have been optimised to reliably produce the best possible image quality. If you use different settings, you may experience the following problems:

Apertures lower than F4 (e.g. F2.8): Reduced depth-of-field potentially resulting in blurred images.

Apertures higher than F4 (e.g. F11): Higher aperture settings result in slower shutter speeds that may cause motion blur. Image blur and loss of contrast due to lens diffraction may also occur.

ISO higher than ISO 100, for example ISO 400: Loss of resolution due to increased image noise.
